Grienmatt Liestal – Apartment block with charging stations
3. April 2024One of the most advanced charging parks was put into operation this month in the Grienmatt development in Liestal. The condominium owners opted for the sun2wheel system because it will allow them to charge with solar power in future. Later, bidirectional charging can even be integrated as a further optimisation stage.
The entire underground car park was equipped for charging stations using a ribbon cable from the main distribution point of the buildings. A charging station can now be easily installed and connected at each car park, whether AC or bidirectional charging stations. The wallboxes are intelligently connected via WLAN. In the first step, six owners decided in favour of a charging station. With the eCarUp billing system, they can activate the charging station at their car park using an RFID tag (e.g. with the SwissPass). Individual users can be specifically authorised for certain charging stations and guests can also charge their car when visiting the apartment building.
Billing is fully automatic and can be easily carried out using the credit card stored once. The prices can be defined and stored together.
As soon as the planned solar system is realised one day, the apartment building receives a ZEV. The sun2wheel load management system ensures that the charging mode of the charging station can be set according to personal preference at any time. On a sunny day, it is thus possible to charge exclusively with electricity from the photovoltaic system on the building’s own roof without having to purchase additional electricity.
